Social Responsibility is part of Timing’s DNA.
Always did.
Every year, we make a difference in someone’s life, in the life of some association or even some animal and the environment.
Since 2019, we have been associates and sponsors of the Guinea-Bissau albino association. The association has around 130 albinos, and we are the only non-albinos in the board, which makes us very proud. Wherever we go we are inclusive and that is priceless!
Only those who visit Guinea-Bissau can get a sense of the reality lived there. In the village of Bruce, in the Bijagós archipelago, there are about 400 inhabitants. The older ones cannot read or write. They live from what they grow, hunt and fish and, among the youngest, the unemployment rate is around 80%.
We are currently developing a solidarity project that involves the construction of a first-aid station; a school with a sponsorship program to guarantee the children’s studies, food and clothing; lighting the entire village using solar panels (already in progress) and sending 10 teenagers to the capital to take professional courses, with everything paid for by us. In addition, we also deal with the arrangement of the water hole, essential in the daily life of the community.
13 jobs were created with the emergence of this project and we are the largest employer on the island.
We are from people, for people.
And so we don’t know how to do it, if not good ![]()
