Timing has opened its first office in Funchal, marking the company’s entry into the Autonomous Region of Madeira. Opened as the brand celebrates its ninth anniversary, the new location strengthens Timing’s presence in Portugal’s island regions and brings its services closer to companies, candidates and workers in Madeira and Porto Santo.
The new Funchal office marks Timing’s first presence outside mainland Portugal. After establishing operations across several regions of the country, the company now has a local team in Madeira to support recruitment, temporary staffing, training and human resources management.
Since its creation in 2015, Timing has worked across a range of sectors, with a particularly strong presence in hospitality, construction, retail, industry and logistics. Expanding to Madeira enables the company to provide closer support in a region with its own recruitment and workforce management requirements.
For Ricardo Mariano, CEO of Timing, the opening of the Funchal office represents an important stage in the company’s growth and the consolidation of its nationwide presence. The expansion to Madeira is part of Timing’s strategy to bring its human resources services closer to different regions of Portugal.
The new office aims to support companies in Madeira and Porto Santo in identifying qualified workers, managing recruitment processes and developing solutions tailored to the requirements of each sector.
Eva Quitério, Human Resources Coordinator for the Algarve and Islands, also highlighted the importance of the Madeira team in this new phase. She noted that hospitality training and the regular monitoring of client satisfaction are important aspects of Timing’s presence in the region.
The opening in Funchal therefore marks a new stage for Timing and provides a local point of contact for companies looking for human resources support and candidates seeking new job opportunities in Madeira.
