Timing launches new International Recruitment department

Timing has launched Timing International, its new international recruitment department. The new division was created to support European companies in hiring Portuguese professionals while assisting candidates interested in developing their careers in other countries.

The creation of this department strengthens Timing’s ability to deliver cross-border recruitment projects, while keeping candidate and client support fully integrated within the company’s existing structure, teams and communication channels.

Timing International responds to the recruitment challenges faced by companies across different European markets, particularly in sectors experiencing significant workforce shortages. During its initial phase, the department will focus primarily on construction, industry and hospitality.

Its objective is to connect European companies looking to strengthen their teams with Portuguese professionals who are available and interested in working abroad.

The department operates through two main recruitment models:

  • The first focuses on recruiting in Portugal for international mobility opportunities. The team identifies, assesses and selects Portuguese professionals who are available to join projects in other European countries, taking into account the required profile, role, employment conditions and specific requirements of each opportunity.
  • The second focuses on recruiting Portuguese professionals who already live in the destination country. This approach enables companies to identify candidates who are geographically closer, familiar with the local context and potentially available to join their teams more quickly.

For companies, the department provides support from the initial assessment of recruitment needs and definition of candidate profiles through to the identification, selection and initial integration of professionals.

For candidates, the process is designed to provide clear information about the role, destination country, working conditions and the different stages involved in international mobility. Timing’s support aims to provide greater certainty and reduce some of the challenges associated with moving abroad for work.

The creation of Timing International marks another step in the company’s development within the human resources sector, applying its experience in recruitment, temporary staffing and candidate support to international projects.

Through this new department, Timing aims to support the growth of European companies while creating new opportunities for Portuguese professionals interested in developing their careers abroad.
